At the end of the 2024 season, we experienced the most successful weekend of the year. Our drivers collected trophies in three racing series at our home Brno Circuit.
After some time, we showed up with our TCR Audis. One of them was prepared for Martin Kadlečík, who made his further start in TCR Eastern Europe after two months. The other one was driven by Bartosz Groszek, who registered himself for the TCR Europe race. Considering that both championships started together in one field, we had a chance to compare our drivers to the top of TCR Europe.
Bartosz Groszek set the sixth fastest time in the TCR Europe qualifying. In the first race, he managed to move up two positions to 4th. In Sunday's race, he started from P2. Despite dropping down one place, he still held the third position in the very last lap of the race. Unfortunately, one of his opponents hit him from behind causing Bartosz to go sideways and lose three positions. He finished sixth, but two of his opponents were penalized, so at the end, he was classified fourth again.
Martin Kadlečík scored two second places in TCR Eastern Europe, which is a great result itself. Even more interesting is the comparison with the TCR Europe competition. Martin was highly competitive also in this European championship. He scored P5 in qualifying, P5 in race 1 and P6 in race two out of 21 cars. Considering it was only his third race weekend in a TCR car, it's even more impressive.
Our autumn trophies collection from Masaryk circuit was completed in the ESET Cup Endurance race. This time, Radim Adámek was sharing the wheel of our Porsche with Miro Horňák. They managed to finish second in the GTC1 class.
And that's it for another successful season. Now, the winter break is ahead, so we can think about our next racing program. We would like to thank all our team members for their devoted effort during the whole season. We also highly appreciate that the race weekends are a pleasant time for us, exactly how we like it.
